Online Journalism: A New Wave

                                                  Welcome to PojoaqueNews.com

An Online Newspaper for Pojoaque Valley

Due to the economic crisis of traditional journalism, Pojoaque Valley, a community with a population of approximately 10,000, is currently without a hometown newspaper.

To fill that void, we created PojoaqueNews.com, an online newspaper.

We will report local news, which includes sports, politics, history, art, health, business and the personal opinions of Pojoaque residents in a column named “Speak Out.”

Our goal is to make PojoaqueNews.com a community based news site.

We will work with Pojoaque schools and non-profits to train young people in digital journalism. In fact, we hope to have community journalists of all ages and walks of life contributing to our news site.

These are exciting, uncertain times and we hope to contribute to our community’s future by connecting people who share a sense of history and place.

Thank-you
