 A year ago, PojoaqueNews.com became a reality.  Since that time we’ve received tremendous acknowledgement from advertisers and readers that we are doing something meaningful by providing a news source for Pojoaque Valley.

Initially, we thought about charging a subscription fee because many so called experts have said the era of free content is over.  However, we refuse to charge a subscription fee and thanks to our community-minded advertisers we’ve been able to stay afloat in this, to say the least, interesting economic times.

We are averaging close to 60,000 hits a month, which tells us we’re producing meaningful, relevant and interesting stories. However, producing content and maintaining a high-quality web site costs money.   At this point, I’m doing almost all of the reporting and with school opening soon there will be more stories than one person can cover.

As we build our readership, our desire is to continue to maintain a community based news source that exemplifies the spirit of Pojoaque Valley, a multi-dimensional community unlike any other in the United States.
