Elkettes’ Track Phenom to Run for University of California
Pojoaque Valley senior, Amanda Babicke, has chosen to continue her academic and track careers at University of California-Davis. Last season, the Aggies were the Big West Conference Track & Field Champions.
Babicke is the two-time State AAA High Point Award winner and back-to-back State AAA Champion in the 400m and long jump. Throughout her illustrious high school career, Amanda has amassed seven gold medals and five silver medals at the New Mexico State Championship. Additionally, Amanda is the reigning AAA State Champion in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and long jump.
