New Mexico Crush Wins Volleyball Tournament

The New Mexico Crush 12 and under team consists of girls from Pojoaque and Santa Fe and they won first^t place at the Presidente Picante Volleyball Tournament in Albuquerque this past Sunday. The girls were 6 and 0 in Pool Play which earned them  first place in their pool and a spot in the gold bracket. The girls then beat the Albuquerque Rebels Volleyball Club Avalanche team in the first round of the tourney 2 games to 0, and then defeated the New Mexico Juniors Black team in the Semifinals 2 games to 1. The New Mexico Crush then beat the Albuquerque Angels in the championship match, 2 games to 1.  The girls are coached by Jonelle Martinez.
