Pojoaque Girls Win Bobby B Tournament
A group of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls from Pojoaque went to the Escalante High School Gym in Tierra Amarilla this past weekend and won the Bobby B. Tournament. On Thursday the girls beat El Rito 37 to 0, on Friday they defeated St. Francis (Lumberton, NM) 39 to 15, and on Saturday they beat Tierra Amarilla 20-19 in the championship game. The girls are coached by Randy Martinez and Seledon Martinez.
