Public Encouraged to Attend Town Hall Meeting
As a follow-up to two previous meetings where plans for the newly proposed Nambe Community Center/Park project were discussed, Rudy Garcia, Santa Fe County community services project manager, will host a Townhall Meeting on Thursday, September 24 at 6 p.m. at 180 A Highway 503, the center’s proposed location.
Garcia will provide an updated report on the project and the next steps to be taken, Lisa Roybal, Santa Fe County constituent services liason said.
Community residents are encouraged to attend to provide input.
Some of the issues to be considered are: should the old school house be torn down or refurbished, does the community need another walking track, is having a basketball court and tennis court on the same surface a good idea, what type of playground equipment is needed and how should the new center be used to be benefit the community.
