I wander a world of disappearing stars
Surrounded by people I love

Guadalupe, today you appear
Dark skinned at the heart of a rose

Tonight, your light rises from the
Blood of your crucified son

Your snow capped mountains surround Pojoaque
Your celestial rose scent exists before time

Snow skinned goddess you are our strength
Our soul

I praise you precious Lady
Mid-day I chant your ancient names

Lady of the Serpent Skirt
Lady who Destroys

Lady who Gives Birth
Lady of Desert Winds

Borderland Lady
Our Lady of the Barrio

Lady of the Healing Touch
Lady whose Beauty never ends

Be with us Our Lady of Guadalupe
Give us strength to love and resist

To rebel against evil
In your light we transform

In your radiant light we evolve
In your light we pray

Lady of Ancient Names
In the flickering fire

Lady whose light can not be
Destroyed

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Today is your day

You sit beside me riding shotgun
Always there

On the moon
You stand held by an angel

Wrapped in starlight
Our Lady of Guadalupe

I inhale your rose breath
I pray

Lady of the Serpent Skirt
Lady who Destroys

Lady who Gives Birth
Lady of Desert Winds

Borderland Lady
Our Lady of the Barrio

Lady who Heals
Lady whose beauty never ends

Be with us
Now and at the our of our death

Amen
